Vulnerability analysis in complex networks under a flood risk reduction point of view

چکیده

The measurement and mapping of transportation network vulnerability to natural hazards constitute subjects global interest for a sustainable development agenda as means adaptation climate change. During flood, some elements can be affected, causing the loss lives. Furthermore, impacts include damage vehicles, streets/roads, other logistics services - sometimes with severe economic consequences. Network Science approach may offer valuable perspective considering one type related network-type critical infrastructures: topological vulnerability. index associated an element is defined reducing network’s average efficiency due removing set edges that element. In this paper, we present results systematic literature overview case study applying highways in Santa Catarina (Brazil). We produce map areas susceptible urban floods landslides. Risk knowledge, combining hazard vulnerability, first pillar Early Warning System represents important tool stakeholders sector disaster risk reduction agenda.
